Greater Healdsburg: East of 101
by ThomasScottAdams
Overview
Driving the back roads of Sonoma Country is as relaxing as it is scenic, but sometimes it’s nice to stay close to town to pop in for lunch or back to the hotel for a little rest. Here’s a selection of wineries that are all a short drive if you’re staying in Healdsburg. Pezzi King and Sapphire Hill are right in town to the south-east of Plaza Park. Just a touch to the north you have Simi Winery right on Healdsburg Road, and just a bit to the south you can stop by Christopher Creek, Limerick Lane and Merriam… all without touching the freeway. See the details of each stop for information on hours of operation and whether you’ll need an appointment or not.
