Zin Zealotry: West Dry Creek Road - Sonoma Wine Ta
by ThomasScottAdams
Overview
Those who know Zinfandel can probably see that this is a bit much to do in one day, so you may wish to break this in two. West Dry Creek Road is a veritable gauntlet of big, brambly Zins. Access the area from Westside Road to hit Armida and Mill Creek to the immediate south. Then northward to Everett Ridge, Lambert Bridge, A. Rafanelli, Mounts, Michel-Schlumberger and Quivira. Eat a hearty meal before, during and after this tour in nearby Healdsburg… you’ll be glad you did. See the details of each stop for information on hours of operation and whether you’ll need an appointment or not.
